Spice bread
To savour for breakfast or tea time...
Ingredients
0.28 lb of sugar
0.11 lb of milk
0.11 lb of butter
0.55 lb of flour
1 teaspoon of anise powder
1 teaspoon of bicarbonate
Preparation
• To begin with, mix flour with bicarbonate
• Then, warm up the milk and mix it with butter, honey and anise powder
• Slowly blend flour and bicarbonate to the preparation
• Put the preparation in a cake tin
• Cook it with thermostat 6-7 (160°) for 45-50 minutes, and then turn it out when it is still hot.
